The Saar-Lor-Lux region is technologically characterised by
- more than 15 institutes
(Fraunhofer, Max Planck, DFKI, Leibnitz, etc.) - 14 universities/colleges,
- a large number of incubators, start-up centres and patent exploitation companies and
- a strong industrial structure characterised by small and medium-sized enterprises.
I.e. many innovations and ideas that can be migrated into scalable business models.
Our goal at SaarInnovation is to identify innovative product and solution approaches in Saarland in order to transfer them into scalable business models.
